5 excuses that stop you from achieving success

Making excuses is not a new phenomenon. Don’t u agree with me?
If no, then it can be read all the way back when God asked Adam as if he had eaten the fruit of the tree he was commanded not to, Adam made the first ever excuse in the world, “”The woman whom thou gavest to be with me, she gave me of the tree, and I did eat.” (Genesis 3:12).
Folks, making excuses is the simplest and easiest method of justifying your inaction and fear of failure. Excuses will only make you a coward, cease you from identifying opportunities, to pick up impossibilities and ultimately leave you frustrated the whole life.
“It is wise to direct your anger towards problems – not people; to focus your energies on answers – not excuses”- William Arthur Ward
In a nutshell, the so called excuses halt you from being successful. So I would say that it would be wise enough to pluck the weeds of limitation before it comes in your way to success.
5 excuses that can stop you from achieving success.
- I don’t have time
When you say that you don’t have enough time, you in fact are saying that you don’t have the focus. The reality is that we all find out time for what we consider is most important.
For example, when you say that you don’t have time to write a blog but spent hours watching television, it means that you consider watching T.V. as the most important task. This is a clear sign of how much you value your dreams. When you spend time for your passion, you will find it to be fun and productive.
Indeed you have the time to succeed, but the question is how much focus and value you have for your dream?
- What will I do, if I fail?
J.K Rowling, the author of Harry Potter, once quoted that it is impossible to live without failures. Rowling’s Harry Potter manuscript was rejected 12 times before it got published!! Just imagine what would have happened if she feared failure and stop trying.
As always said failure is the path to success. It’s how we gain experience and learn how to do and grow. This is because if we don’t get a chance to fail, we get stagnant and will not identify the rooms for improvement. So, the greatest failure is not to risk for failure.
- This is not my age for that
Scribble this in your mind “Age is no bar to pursue your passion”. Nelson Mandela was 76 when he became president and Jesse Owens was just 22 when he won four gold medals in Berlin Olympics 1936.
There is nothing like it’s too early or too late to pursue your goal.
- I don’ t know how
One of the worst quoted excuses!! When Richard Branson, the billion owner of Virgin Group, started his mail-order record company Virgin way back in 1969 didn’t knew the techniques to expand his entrepreneurial venture. He had suffered many failures but learned from it and moved on with his experience.
Each one of us learns from the experience. Do not think and research too much. Take up the first step because that will give you the answer for HOW.
- It will be difficult
Walt Disney, the man who gave the world of Disney and Mickey Mouse was rejected 302 times when he approached financing companies to finance his animation company. His first animation company went bankrupt and it is also said that he was fired by a news editor because he lacked imagination. Despite all the difficulties he succeeded in creating the fantasy world of Mickey Mouse.
Difficulties may seem to be a hindrance, however it will turn out to be an opportunity creator for you. If not, blame your stars and wait patiently..!
