5 Compelling Reasons Why You Should Go For a Honeymoon??
Sexy question…isn’t it?
A funny incident happened while I was studying in my 7th standard which raised the curiosity in me to know more about the word honeymoon, even though I have heard about it many a times.
For an English test paper there was a segment; write one word for the following sentence.
In that segment the first question was – journey to a sacred place – what is it called as?
The real answer is pilgrimage, but my friend wrote it as honeymoon…ha ha ha..I still remember our English teacher reading it aloud in the classroom…
Ok, on to business!!
Let me tell you that I believe in the KISS (Keep it short and sweet) principle and I will be taking only a couple of minutes of yours, to tell you why you should go for a honeymoon.
Have you ever thought why people plan for a honeymoon even before the wedding bell rings?
“aNd”
Why there is a norm that newly wedded couples must go for honeymoon?
Well, for me going for honeymoon is not important, but is a MUST!!!
Generally, honeymoon is considered to be a blow-budget holiday for many. The people who fall into the said category feel that going for honeymoon is simply a waste of time and money.
My husband pledged his mother’s gold to go for our honeymoon, which I came to know very recently. It shows that he had given high importance for it, more than what I had given.
..It might sound silly to you, but going for a honeymoon was really important for Rafi and thank you mummy (my mother-in-law) for your unconditional love and handing over your lucky charm to me..
It’s true that honeymoon has lost its significance in today’s world because many couples get into the institution of marriage after living together for many years.
But still there are a few compelling reasons for you to plan your honeymoon.
Honeymoon is not only about travelling, but also a chance to spent and devote some quality time with your soul mate without any external influence.
It’s the only time where you and your partner will be free from all the tensions and you can pamper each other.
I feel that the honeymoon trip we had, soon after my marriage helped me to understand my love more better.
The quality time we devoted for each other without any disturbance helped us in building a strong bond and gave me the feeling that my love is someone special and I am lucky to have him in my life.
Our honeymoon indeed was a romantic excursion.
From my short experience I am going tell you why you should go for a honeymoon even if you are accustomed with your partner’s interests and habits..
1. It’s all about celebrating your marriage.
Marriage is a great and noble institution where two people from opposite poles of life come together to be supported and support each other through their entire life.
It’s actually party and celebration time as you have got someone in your life who comes with the promise to love and be there with you whenever you need him/her.
And life is meant to celebrate and not worry over..Don’t you agree with me?
2. To bring the sense of togetherness.
Having some personal time away from your busy schedule and daily life interruptions will enable you to connect with your partner and enjoy each other’s presence.
Spending time together will set up a conducive situation for intimacy and romance.
No matter what you do, rest and relax, explore or seek adventure, make sure you and your partner do it together.
I bet you, the sense of togetherness will help you start (or recharge) your life on the best possible note.
3. To understand each other
If you fall into the category of arranged marriage, then honeymoon will help you to know your partner much better.
A relaxed environment, away from the hustle and bustle of the routine life, will enable the love between you and your partner to blossom.
The same is the case with couples who had love marriage. May be it will be in your honeymoon trip you will realize there is a child in your husband/wife.
4. To bring back home some unforgettable memories.
A romantic honeymoon trip will definitely bring back some unforgettable moments for you and your partner to cherish the whole life.
These memories would make the rest of your days as sweet as honey..I still cherish the romantic moments we spent in our train journey and the way my husband took care of me when I had severe fever and vomiting during our honeymoon.
I took care of him as well…So it was a symbiotic process..he he he…
5. To recharge yourself.
Well, this is for the married couples who have already gone for a honeymoon.
A second honeymoon can bring back the lost lust in your relationship and no doubt to spend some quality time with your soul mate without any worries.
Now I see some naughty smiles in your face..he…he.. I have started thinking of a third honeymoon!! And what about you??
Do you think I have missed out any relevant points? I would love to get your comments on this!!
